Any of the fillers in the Juvederm family can be dissolved at any time via injection with a unique enzyme called hyaluronidase. The enzyme usually works within 24 hours to dissolve the injected filler without affecting your body’s hyaluronic acid or damaging your skin in any way. Reversibility makes these filler procedures even more safe and stress-free. If your Juvederm results are not fully satisfactory or we want to adjust the fill down for any reason, we can always dissolve the filler either partially or completely. Before any treatment, first-time patients meet for a one-on-one consultation at RIVKIN Aesthetics. In addition to reviewing your medical history, Dr. Rivkin or one of our expert practitioners will inquire about your personal treatment goals and together you will set realistic expectations for the procedure.
Dubbed the “lunchtime lift,” Juvederm with Dr. Rivkin delivers immediate results and typically takes about 15 minutes. He will carefully and precisely inject the filler into key locus points to ensure the most natural and effective outcome. Depending on the area being injected and product used, results are long lasting and can range from six months, up to four years or more.
Minimal swelling, minor bruising, redness and tenderness may occur after your Juvederm injections, but should fully resolve in several days up to two weeks. In general, Juvederm is relatively risk-free and painless, offering you unparalleled results with the shortest recovery period.
