THE TREATMENT:
SMALL DOSES, BIG RESULTS
Recognizing the overwhelming need for smooth flawless skin, Dr. Rivkin recently added a new procedure, called Micro-Botox, to his extensive array of beauty treatments. Although the treatment is not new to the industry, there are very few doctors performing this treatment in the U.S. and he is one of the first in the Los Angeles area.
WHAT YOU WANT
A DELICATE LOOK
Micro-Botox makes the skin look delicate, poreless and lifted. Some women even report a naturally powdered look. The injections are performed on a superficial level and do not affect the muscles involved in facial expression, like “conventional” Botox injections. It is the perfect solution for anyone suffering from large pores, oily or acne prone skin.

“As usual, Dr. Rivkin is the best! My eyes look great and cheeks are lifted nicely, no bruising and the swelling went down right away, thanks for the Arnica. So happy. Coming in next month for my next treatment.”
MICROBOTOX: THE HD LIFT
Also known as intradermal Botox, this treatment works by targeting the sweat and oil glands in the skin as well as the erector pili muscles, which are responsible for opening the pores. By temporarily weakening these muscles and glands, the skin becomes noticeably tighter, smoother and more refined. The procedure makes the skin of your face look delicate, poreless and lifted. The injections are performed on a superficial level and do not affect the muscles involved in facial expression, like “conventional” Botox injections. In fact, this procedure is ideally done immediately after conventional Botox treatment.
Micro-Botox has good synergy with other aesthetic treatments, such as Fraxel or Ultherapy. Many celebrities are using this treatment to achieve a flawless look in front of the camera. Intradermal Botox may also be a solution for people suffering from acne. By suppressing oil production and inhibiting inflammation, Micro-Botox treatment allows the skin to heal. While it should not be the first line of defense against acne, it is definitely worth considering for those who have not seen results from other treatments.
